Here we have different interpretations of "candid photos".
It was a picnic, so of course we needed food. Daniel/Donny/Doo Doo/Donny Doo Doo fired up the BBQ.
I was pretty pumped to have a sausage sandwich for the first time in forever. For my American readers who might think sausage sandwiches are the same as hotdogs, I grabbed photos of the ingredients. You need a slice of white bread, a sausage, onion and tomato sauce (even though this bottle said ketchup). The bread to sausage to sauce to onion ratio is very important.
Delicious.
We all forced Celeste to make a speech because it was her birthday and the guests get whatever they want. That's how birthdays work, right?
There was no cake, but there were many substitutes, like the shots, blocks of chocolate, and the double layer, white bread cake with cork candle that Annastasia created.
When Ryan and I first arrived at the picnic we scoffed at nature, but by the end Mother Earth was our friend.
There were leaf hair accessories with Jacqui D.W.Yeah!
Stick dancing with the Carpool Crew.
Stick wars (or a nature inspired interpretive jig) with Annastasia and Lachie.
I'd be lying if I said I knew exactly what was happening here. Alkira was behind the camera and I have every confidence she was equally confused.
Lachie convinced Liam that "The Koala" was a good idea. Liam had no idea what to expect.
Jacqui gave it a go too, not quite reaching the same heights as Lachie.
Meanwhile John, Donny and Alex were hoping to further their styling, modelling and Charlie Angels career paths.
Thanks for a super fun celebration, Celeste. I hope 26 brings more love, adventure and excitement than you can imagine. You deserve all that and so much more. Xo
